Your work as HR Business Partner at #Highberg

In this challenging role, you will work within the HR Business Partner team of Highberg. Together, you support around 400 professionals, spread across our locations in both the Netherlands (Amsterdam, Utrecht, Zoetermeer) and Germany (Hamburg).

The HR Business Partner role is evolving, given the phase our organization is in. Among other things, you will:

  • Be a sparring partner for two Highberg Units of Business (hub’s) within Highberg (located in Amsterdam and Hamburg), and Holding (IT, Finance, Marketing), helping them to deliver high performance results;
  • Provide practical expertise and advise the management teams and individual managers on topics such as recruitment, performance culture, evaluation & development, engagement and strategic workforce planning, based on data;
  • Be together with the local management teams and managers responsible for hiring, evaluation, development and individual cases;
  • Initiate, lead and manage HR harmonization projects focused on integrating systems, core HR processes, and policies within Highberg;
  • Actively contribute to a shared way of working and strengthening the culture within Highberg.

What we are asking

  • A completed degree, preferably in HRM, business administration, or psychology;
  • At least 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner (or in a similar role);
  • You speak and write fluent German and English, Dutch is preferred as extra language;
  • Knowledge of German and Dutch labor law;
  • Willingness to travel to Amsterdam or Hamburg at least 2 times per month for a couple of days;
  • Proven track record of setting up new processes and best in class HR services, preferable within a growing organisation.

  • Experience with stakeholder management at various levels;
  • A solution-oriented, proactive attitude and the ability to switch quickly between different tasks and challenges;
  • Project management skills and experience with change management;
  • Strong service-orientation, deep understanding of identifying business needs and turning them into actions.
