You are going to lead and hire engineers for a cross-functional team that is transitioning towards a modern technology stack with technologies and tools like Node.js, React, Typescript, AWS, Serverless, and GraphQL. Who you will work with
As the Engineering Manager for the MijnNN team and the Onboarding & Authentication team, you will have the unique opportunity to lead two of the most innovative teams in the retail domain, consisting of circa 15 highly skilled engineers reporting directly to you. You will report to the Head of Retail at Customer & Digital and functionally to the C&D Lead Engineering Manager. But you'll also have the chance to collaborate with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures in the larger IT community and leverage the larger NN Engineering community.

Where do you work?
The Customer & Digital (C&D) teams link the business units of Nationale-Nederlanden with our customers by managing all shared systems, platforms, capabilities, and service desks used to provide customer service. This includes the development and use of digital client portals, the app, chatbot technology, and expertise areas such as research, UX design, and data science across the company.
