Data and Program Manager at Rituals

Help shape the future of data at Rituals.

Use your expertise in data governance, program management and change leadership to make data a true strategic asset. We are looking for a Data and Program Manager who can bridge business and technology. You will play a key role in translating business needs into data governance practices that ensure quality, compliance and impact. Acting as a connector, you will guide the adoption of frameworks, foster a culture of accountability and enable colleagues to use data responsibly and effectively.

In this role you will:

  • Co-develop and validate the data governance framework, tooling and organizational structure, ensuring they align with real business needs
  • Provide product, process and system expertise to guide decisions on data definitions, classifications and governance structures
  • Build and nurture the data governance community, onboarding and developing data owners, organizing training and promoting awareness
  • Challenge and improve data governance design and tooling from a business perspective to ensure feasibility, usability and adoption
  • Act as a change champion, driving cultural change towards data accountability and transparency across the business
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams from both Business & Business Technology to secure end to end adoption of governance practices

We think you will be successful if you bring

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in data management, governance or change/program management
  • A degree at HBO or WO level in Business Administration, Data Science or Information Management
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to influence and educate stakeholders at all levels
  • Practical experience with data governance concepts such as data ownership, data quality, metadata and classification
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills to challenge ideas constructively
  • Training, facilitation and change management skills to build a sustainable stewardship community
  • Familiarity with data management tools, business processes and systems is a plus
