Head of Global People Communications

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and lead the implementation of a global internal engagement strategy aligned with the company's long-term vision and goals.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure internal communication initiatives support business objectives and promote a cohesive organizational culture.
  • Drive a culture change enabling improved performance and successful strategic plan delivery for sustainable impact.

Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of internal communication professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
  • Provide guidance and direction to the team in creating compelling and impactful communication materials, ensuring consistency and alignment with company messaging.

Collaborative Partnership:

  • Forge a strong partnership with the Human Resources team to drive culture transformation and employee engagement through targeted communication strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to amplify key initiatives, ensuring consistent messaging across various departments and geographies.

Change Management:

  • Work closely with leadership to navigate organizational changes, translating complex messages into clear and relatable communication for employees at all levels.
  • Leverage communication strategies to minimize resistance to change and drive employee adoption of new processes and initiatives.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Engage with a diverse group of stakeholders, including the CEO and other senior leaders, to align communication strategies with their vision and priorities.
  • Build strong relationships across the organization, fostering trust and credibility as the go-to internal communication expert.

Alignment with External Communications:

  • Collaborate closely with the external communications team to ensure consistency, alignment, and integration of messaging across internal and external channels.
  • Contribute to the development of a cohesive narrative that resonates with both internal and external audiences, reinforcing the company's mission and values.

Inspirational Leadership:

  • Serve as a role model for the company's values and culture, inspiring employees to embody these principles in their daily work.
  • Create a sense of purpose and belonging by crafting narratives that connect employees to the organization's mission and impact.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in internal communications, including leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing global internal engagement strategies.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership, including CEOs and executives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for translating complex concepts into relatable content.
  • Strong people leadership skills, with experience mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
  • Change management expertise, with a track record of driving cultural transformation through communication strategies.
