Global Supply Chain Manager | Advanced Materials Interlayers
Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Strategy Development and Implementation
- Develop, implement, and manage AMI supply chain strategy on a global scale.
- Operationalize market segment strategy for supply chain, working with Market Segment Leaders, Films Supply Chain, Product Management, Supply Chain Center of Excellence, Logistics, and Customer Service teams to develop service offerings.
- Anchor execution of segment-specific supply chain offerings.
- Drive inventory strategy for the product portfolio to ensure the target service level for each market segment and conduct periodic review.
- Define supply policies for product segments and inventory targets to meet them.
Supply Chain Management
- Lead AMI team of Supply Managers covering global long-term supply of Finished Goods and Intermediates; engage with Regional Teams to execute global S&OP plan.
- Model “what-if” scenarios and solutions to resolve supply conflicts (on finished goods); identify constraints and propose alternatives where demand plans cannot be met.
- Prepare and facilitate Supply Meeting in monthly IBP cycle, reviewing the balanced supply plans, allocation choices, and KPIs & metrics based on variable margin & strategic priorities.
- Work with Regional Supply Teams to identify opportunities to optimize supply chain performance (e.g., network configuration choices, optimization of logistics flows).
- Ensure execution of inventory strategy in alignment with Regional Teams and provide monthly inventory forecast.
- Work closely with Automotive Commercial Team to ensure supply choices support sales funnel and execution of segment strategy, providing assessment of supply capabilities in collaboration with Regional Teams.
- Align choices on Automotive supply globally by engaging with regional Teams and represent AMI Supply Chain in Global Automotive WWCAR.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or Supply Chain Management and at least 10+ years of relevant experience required; Master’s Degree preferred.
- APICS, CPIM, or CIRM certifications preferred.
- Experience with management of global supply chain and cross-functional teams.
- 2+ years of experience in program, project, or product management, or leading an implementation of a key cross-functional initiative.
- Knowledge of CRM systems preferred.
- Deep understanding of how supply planning decisions impact profitability and working capital.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; strong affinity for modelling.
- Leverages the skills of questioning, observation, listening, and networking to gain a deep understanding of goals, needs, and issues.
- High degree of initiative; ability to achieve results individually and in a team environment; commitment to task and detail orientation; ability to multi-task in a dynamic business environment.

- Excellent oral, written, and computer skills, including strong proficiency in Excel required.
