Account Executive - Neobanks and Fintech

Your impact

This is a foundational role where you’ll lead our commercial expansion into Europe’s neobank market. You will be the architect of our strategy, establishing relationships with key fintech players to embed Mollie’s payment proposition directly into their platforms.

You aren't just joining a team; you're building a new market segment from the ground up. By defining our market approach and closing the first major deals, you’ll create the blueprint for how Mollie partners with neobanks across Europe. It’s a high-impact opportunity to own a vertical with massive growth potential and direct visibility with senior leadership.

What you'll ship

  • Deliver and execute the commercial strategy for the neobank and fintech sector across Europe.
  • Map the market and define the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) for our neobank proposition.
  • Identify, prospect, and establish foundational commercial partnerships with major European neobanks.
  • Close the first new deals to prove the model and drive initial revenue in this nascent segment.
  • Build a consistent pipeline through outbound prospecting and high-level industry networking.

What you'll bring

  • Deep market knowledge of the banking, fintech, or neobank sectors.
  • Hands-on experience working within a bank, fintech, or neobank environment.
  • An enterprise hunter mentality combined with the ability to think strategically about long-term partnerships.
  • Proven skills in stakeholder mapping and building complex professional relationships.
  • Mastery of outbound prospecting methodologies and event-based business development.
