What are you going to do?

As a mechanical lead engineer, you play a key role in ensuring the success of the mechanical part of our mechatronic concepts and systems. You contribute ideas during the concept phase and are responsible for the engineering and analytical substantiation within the project team. From the initial ideas to supervising the development of a complete construction file on which production can be based, you maintain a clear overview and focus on the content. In the implementation phase, you will be responsible for outsourcing mechanical parts and supervising assembly. You combine substantive expertise with a motivating and coaching leadership style. You create a safe and pleasant working environment in which everyone can flourish.

What do you bring to the table?

• A completed higher professional education (HBO) or university education (WO) degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience as a mechanical (lead) engineer.
• Good analytical skills, good 3D CAD skills, and an interest in precision engineering principles.
• An entrepreneurial and creative mindset and the ability to translate technical issues or new developments into working mechanical solutions
• Enthusiasm, flexibility, and a healthy dose of initiative and perseverance
• A customer-oriented attitude and good communication skills
• Fluent command of Dutch and English
