Role Description

DPE (Digital Partner Ecosystem) aims to drive measurable impact for our accommodation partners by providing advice and support through our partner-facing digital touchpoints (Extranet, Partner Hub, email). We do this by delivering personalized, automated journeys and practical guidance across channels, offering information and support through our digital platforms. This is powered by educational and commercial content, personalized data points and insights, and hands-on actions partners can take.

About the role

The Lead Business Growth owns driving (innovative) projects to improve our marketing capabilities and commercial actionability. Representing Digital Partner Ecosystem (DPE) by owning and continuously optimizing the rollout of strategic initiatives as part of the wider business unit objectives.

The goal of the Lead Business Growth is to validate and deliver scalable solutions that drive commercial impact, measured in product adoption and/or consistent availability, through scalable digital marketing activations and improvements in marketing tooling and automation, with a focus on innovation.

Key Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Scope: Own the validation and scaling of growth initiatives, ensuring successful pilot outcomes are transitioned into repeatable, operationalized workflows adopted by DPE teams. Success is measured in how consistently these solutions are embedded into standard execution.

  • Performance / impact: Drive measurable improvement in marketing effectiveness through validated playbooks, improved tooling, and adoption of structured activation methods. Performance is demonstrated through increased scalability, reduced manual effort, partner experience outcomes (Psat), and repeatable uplift patterns on business metrics.

  • Drive Performance: Identify opportunities to deliver on partner needs and turn these into solutions in our digital channels with the aim to drive (commercial) impact for partner and Booking.com.

  • Experiment and Delivery Backlog: Maintain and prioritise a backlog of hypotheses, experiments, and scaling actions based on expected value and feasibility. Lead delivery from validation to rollout, ensuring cross-functional alignment, clear decision-making, and integration into business-as-usual workflows.

  • Tooling & Automation Improvement: Collaborate with product and engineering teams to enhance marketing tooling and automation capabilities, ensuring improvements are integrated into long-term systems rather than manual activation work.

  • Project Management: Lead complex projects, ensuring alignment with stakeholder goals and partner needs while managing technical implications and barriers. This involves fostering collaboration and alignment across teams, communicating outcomes and learnings to stakeholders, and validating, monitoring project results to drive continuous improvement.

  • Drive Innovation: Collaborate with technical teams to drive innovation based on hypotheses and user stories, aiming to improve business impact, reduce time spent, and increase partner experience through technology-driven solutions.

  • Collaboration: Effectively achieve your impact drivers within the scope of responsibility by fostering enhanced stakeholder collaboration. This involves actively engaging with and gaining the support of key stakeholders, including product teams, segment teams and revenue management, ensuring their alignment with performance indicators and goals to drive meaningful outcomes.

  • Analytics: Conduct analysis of performance, commercial and market data to derive commercial insights and define hypotheses.

  • Authority: Be seen as an authority in your craft by sharing knowledge and insights, thereby making your impact visible and positioning oneself as an expert within the business. This involves guiding, consulting, educating, and supporting team members within and outside the department.

  • Voice of the Partner: Serve as the voice of partners within the organization, advocating for their needs and perspectives.

Role Qualifications and Requirements
