Senior Activation Specialist

Your role in our shared journey

ASICS SportStyle is seeking a Senior Activations Specialist for the UK market to provide 360-degree Cultural Marketing and PR services including media coverage, influencer marketing and community building, events, and activations. This role must be based in London, UK, and reports into the EMEA PR & Influencer Manager based in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Your role will be instrumental in weaving the fabric of our movement, bringing unique perspectives and driving innovation with every step.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Translate global and European PR and marketing strategies for the UK market by implementing innovative activation methods.
• Support brand launches, collaborations and campaigns through strategic planning, product seeding, talent targeting and media pitching.
• Support in establishing and negotiating brand ambassadorship programmes to enhance market presence and engagement.
• Manage the UK-based PR agency to ensure alignment with brand objectives and campaign execution.
• Handle product orders, forecasts and sample deliveries to support promotional activities and launches.
• Track, measure and report on PR activities including ROI analysis and monthly KPI performance.
• Manage budget tracking, invoicing and vendor setup related to PR activities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams and categories including Product, Digital Marketing, Trade and Visual Merchandising.

You have the following skills:

• 5-8 years of experience in PR and communications at a brand or agency.
• Proven ability to elevate brand awareness and positioning across traditional media, social media, talent and brand experiences.
• Self-motivation and ability to proactively seek PR opportunities
• Flexibility to work on own initiative or within a cross-functional matrix organization
• Operational efficiency working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to travel abroad for work when needed
• Excellent English communication skills (written and speaking).
