The Business Support Planning and Control team is looking for an Operation Planner (Inventory Management).

Role and responsibilities

As an Inventory Management Planner you will be responsible for the inventory within our warehouse. This role includes integral alignment with Sourcing & Procurement, in house 3PL, other ASML warehouses and various stakeholders to ensure stock availability and accuracy. You do this to make sure our internal customers (Factories) will receive their materials on time in full.

As an Inventory Management Planner, you will have the following tasks and responsibilities:

Operational activities

  • Ensure material availability based on demand needs
  • Ensure timely delivery of all needed materials
  • Predict and prevent inventory related challenges
  • Align on capacity vs. demand in the logistical process
  • Set priorities for specific stock transfer orders
  • Report on performance, and set out actions when needed
  • Cycle Counting

Continuous Improvement activities

  • Identify improvement opportunities in the value chain
  • Define and improve inventory related processes
  • Participate and/or drive continuous improvement projects
  • Interact with stakeholders

Education and experience

Relevant Bachelor or Master degree (e.g. Operations Management & Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management).

  • 3-5 years of experience within Logistics / Supply Chain Management
  • Hands-on experience in a technical production/warehouse environment.
  • Preferably experience with trouble-shooting: problem solving mythologies
  • SAP knowledge
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
