Destination Responsible – Summer 2026

As a Destination Responsible (Team Lead), you bring those moments to life by supporting both your team and our guests. You act as the connecting force on destination: the go‑to person for your guides, the face of Sunweb for our guests, and the key link between local partners and our headquarters.

For Summer 2026, we are looking for energetic, proactive, and guest‑centric Destination Responsible roles for Rhodes and Lefkas.

What you will do

As Destination Responsible, you oversee the daily operation on your destination.

Leadership & Team Coordination

• Coach, support, and motivate the Destination Guides.

• Create and manage work schedules based on availability and operational needs.

• Ensure consistent service quality, team performance, and efficiency.

• Build a positive team culture and maintain a safe, professional working environment.

Guest Experience

• Act as the escalation point for complex questions, complaints, and special situations.

• Guarantee a seamless guest journey from arrival to departure.

• Ensure high‑quality service both digitally and on‑site.

• Support your team in promoting and selling excursions, upgrades, and extras.

Operations & Safety

• Coordinate daily operations with DMCs and local partners, including transfers, excursions, and hotel visits.

• Handle emergencies or irregularities in line with the Sunweb Emergency Protocol.

• Analyze operational performance and report improvements to the Area Manager.

• Keep administrative systems (Freshworks, SharePoint, Destination Tool) fully up to date.

What we’re looking for

• Experience in tourism/hospitality; leadership experience is a strong plus.

• A natural coach with strong communication and organizational skills.

• Guest‑oriented, solution‑driven, and calm under pressure.

• Confident using digital systems and comfortable multitasking.

• For Lefkas: fluency in Dutch and English.

• For Rhodes: fluency in Dutch, English and French.

• A valid driver’s license.

• Full summer seasonal availability, including weekends and irregular hours.

• Eligibility to work in the respective country.
