Installation Responsible Person (IR)

Analytical, communicative and a true team player

You are directly responsible for the safe operation of electrical installations and/or electrical work equipment in accordance with NEN3140. Your task is to maintain the safety of electrical installations and electrical work equipment by:

• Periodically (having) inspections carried out and ensuring timely correction of any defects.
• Reviewing inspection results to map the technical integrity of electrical installations and/or electrical work equipment in relation to their lifecycle.
• Assessing whether inspection results have an impact on the Risk Inventory & Evaluation (RI&E) or the associated Action Plan.
• Safeguarding and documenting inspection results and mapping the lifecycle (replacement planning).
• Drafting, evaluating and revising procedures and work instructions.
• Setting up access control arrangements for areas with electrical hazards.
• Establishing procedures for the operation of installations.
• Approving plans for performing work on “your” installation(s).
• Granting permission before work is carried out on “your” installation(s).
• Assessing whether the installation complies when there is a change in use or circumstances.
• Assessing whether operational conditions allow all parts of an installation to be de-energized for work.

In addition, part of the role includes:

• Drafting, evaluating and revising procedures and work instructions related to ATEX guidelines.
• Planning and performing periodic visual ATEX inspections in accordance with ATEX 153 based on NEN-EN-IEC 60079-17.
• Safeguarding, evaluating and documenting inspection results and mapping the lifecycle (replacement planning).

Your profile

• You have a strong safety awareness.
• You have a bachelor-level working and thinking capacity (HBO) or equivalent, with a strong affinity for electrical engineering.
• You have excellent command of both the Dutch and English language.

In addition, you demonstrate the following competencies: proactive attitude, strong communication skills, team player, strong analytical ability, relationship-oriented, sense of responsibility, and decisiveness.
