Shape smarter forecasts. Power efficient supply chains. Enable a sustainable world.

Your role

As our Group Demand Planning Manager, you will play an important role in shaping how demand is planned and translated into execution across the BDR Thermea Group, a leading manufacturer of smart indoor climate solutions. You bring together statistical expertise, data-driven insights, and operational understanding to ensure forecasts are not only accurate, but truly useful for decision-making.

You will join our Group Supply Chain team. In your day-to-day work, you collaborate closely with colleagues in sales, finance, and supply planning within our local operating companies, providing central insight while supporting alignment between local and global plans.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a meaningful transformation as we continue our journey towards insight-driven demand planning. You will partner with diverse markets, working thoughtfully across cultures, different ERP environments, and varying levels of planning maturity. With the rollout of SAP IBP DP, you will help strengthen analysis, encourage open dialogue around assumptions, and support the gradual development of shared forecasting principles and growth ambitions across the group.

Your key responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve statistical forecast models in SAP IBP DP to support forecast accuracy across the group.
  • Analyse demand patterns, trends, and exceptions to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support alignment between local operating company forecasts and central insights, including the use of external market and macroeconomic data.
  • Monitor order intake and actual demand versus forecasts, translating insights into practical input for operational teams.
  • Act as a trusted subject matter expert, encouraging constructive dialogue and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

What you bring

  • 5–7+ years of experience in demand planning, statistical forecasting, supply chain analytics, or related domains.
  • Demonstrated experience improving forecast accuracy and connecting planning outputs to operational execution.
  • Experience working with SAP IBP DP or similar forecasting tools, including the use of external data sources.
  • The ability to translate complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations for different audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills, a fact-based approach to decision-making, and the ability to build effective relationships in cross-functional teams working in an international matrix organisation.
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Research, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.

Preferably, you also bring:

  • Exposure to centralising or harmonising demand planning processes in a multi-location environment.

What we offer

  • A permanent contract.
  • Next to a solid monetary compensation, receive a strong pension package.
  • Benefit from a healthy work-life balance with 36 holiday days per year, based on a full-time contract.
  • Take advantage of flexible home-working policies and a home-office budget.
  • Enjoy discounts on our products and insurances.
