Your role in our shared journey

Located at our EMEA headquarters in Hoofddorp, near Amsterdam, you'll contribute to our mission by leading the marketing strategy and execution across our Emerging Markets region covering more than 25 countries including Greece, Israel, Balkans, Africa, Bulgaria, Romania. In this pivotal role, you'll build and develop high-performing marketing teams whilst managing the full go-to-market process for our subsidiary in South Africa, Distributors and centrally managed accounts, ensuring ASICS marketing campaigns are effectively tailored to local market needs across the region.

Your role will be instrumental in weaving the fabric of our movement, bringing unique perspectives and driving innovation with every step.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Build and strengthen marketing teams in subsidiaries and support distributors in recruiting professional marketing talent to reach Central European standards.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for the Emerging Markets region that align with global business objectives and EMEA frameworks.
  • Manage the complete Go-To-Market process for distributors and Centrally Managed Accounts across the region.
  • Execute ASICS marketing campaigns tailored to local market needs and develop region-specific toolboxes and imagery adapted from the EMEA portfolio.
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of 5 people across the region.
  • Maintain full budget responsibility for the region, including budget control for subsidiaries, CMA customers and distributors.
  • Provide marketing training to distributors in areas such as Social Media, Digital Marketing and Athletes Activation to enhance their capabilities.
  • Establish and manage cross-functional processes with Sales and Merchandising departments to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment.

You have the following skills:

  • Sport or consumer marketing expertise, particularly in Emerging markets.
  • Digital, media marketing proficiency and ideally Trade Marketing experience.
  • People management and team leadership capabilities.
  • Strong influencing, communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant marketing experience, including at least 3 years in management.
