Responsibilities
The Process Engineer at Prysmian will be responsible for the execution of the following:

Work in close cooperation with the cable design department. Follow the design requirements and define the correct process parameters of the respective lines to ensure that the product is compliant with the design requirements.

Monitor and analyze process data on a daily basis to ensure stable production and compliance of the product with the requirements, with emphasis on output and quality compliance.

Develop and maintain production documents such as working instructions and working methods for the specific lines you will be responsible for.

Thoroughly analyze production data to continuously improve process parameters in terms of production capacity, compliance with requirements, and material efficiency. The aim is to develop and upgrade process capability, tooling, and machine performance for yield improvement, safety, cost, and productivity.

Work on side projects such as energy consumption analysis and sustainability.

Monitor energy consumption of the machines and proactively propose technical solutions to improve it.

Contribute to sustainability by helping the R&D department with the qualification/industrialization of recycled materials and minimizing the usage of consumables in the production process.
Who are we looking for?
Qualifications:

Familiar with HV cable constructions
-
Proven experience in a similar position
-
Proven knowledge of efficiency-enhancing principles/tools (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.)

Excellent knowledge of MS Office
-
Excellent problem-solving skills, interpersonal skills, communication, and presentation capability
-
Highly self-motivated, with a keen, hands-on approach

Fluent English
