In this Junior Consultant role (internship), you will join the Image Guided Therapy (IGT) business, a leading player in this market and one of the most dynamic and innovative businesses of Philips.

As a member of the IGT Europe Sales organization, you will work with experienced international Healthcare Consultants on customer projects across Europe, supporting them in their transformation journey and the optimization of their patient pathways, workflows and operational performance.

Your role

  • Project management of consulting projects and providing support with consultancy services standardization.

  • Support in creating customer-related material, such as consultancy service proposals, presentations, tender descriptions, etc.

  • Being a key driver in the execution (delivery) of consultancy projects for IGT Europe. Activities ranging from data analytics (e.g. to optimize operational performance), project management activities and business operational requirements (e.g. staff/patient workflow optimization).

  • Actively contribute to internal and external IGT Europe Consulting communication, such as helping writing customer testimonials and case studies of past projects, and publishing them on the dedicated media.

You’re the right fit if

  • A Bachelor/Master’s in e.g. Healthcare, Business, Science or Engineering (with a scope of project management) – potentially with an international or healthcare focus.

  • Experience in project management, process improvement methodologies and/or data analytics would be an asset.

  • English proficiency is compulsory, additional languages could be beneficial for the role.

  • Strong and open-minded team player who can work with various nationalities and cultures.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.

What we offer you

  • Monthly full-time allowance ranging from €500 to €700 gross, depending on your educational level. Part-time internships will receive a pro-rata allowance.

  • Housing compensation for relocation near the office: €300 net for locations near Amsterdam, and €255 net for other Philips locations. To qualify, you must provide a rental contract from your landlord, and your regular home-to-work travel distance must be at least 50 km or your one-way travel time must be 1.5 hours or longer.

  • Travel compensation of up to €145 net if you are not eligible for a free public transport card.

  • Paid holidays for the duration of the internship term.

  • Opportunity to purchase Philips equipment at our Philips shop.

Important

  • In order to be considered, you must be registered as a student during the entire internship period. Formal documentation will be requested.

  • Students from outside the EU enrolled at a Dutch university will need to fill in a NUFFIC agreement – which will need to be signed by the student and the university. Students receiving ECTS credits for this internship will need to fill in a UNL agreement – which will need to be signed by the student and the university.

  • Please note that the contents of this internship assignment is not suitable for professionals (and/or MBA students) with professional work experience.
