EMEA Account Executive – Network Business

The Team and the Role

At Equinix, we help the world’s digital leaders scale with agility during their digital transformation journey.

This Account Executive will work with Network Service Providers (Telcos, ISP, Content Service Providers, Subsea cable companies, Fiber companies) selling Equinix solutions in support of their growth and optimization.

The role in few points

  • Builds customer relationships across varying LOBs and maintains existing relationships within a set portfolio of local, regional, and global network accounts (both prospects and active)
  • Mines dormant or regional prospect accounts, creates awareness of Equinix value, establishes new relationships and builds a pipeline of opportunities through an understanding of current market dynamics, customer business needs and challenges, and technical requirements
  • Leads sales engagement and solutioning with the extended sales team (Global Account Executive, Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Customer Care, Sales Support, Commercial Solutions, Marketing, Sales Operations, etc.)
  • Drives strategic alignment with global peers and account support team members on local/regional quarterly business reviews and customer requests
  • Designs and executes account strategy within Equinix
