About the role

This role is designed as a two-phase assignment. For the first 6 months, you will join the Next Gen Innovation team, focusing on front-end innovation, consumer and dental professional insights, and concept development for future Sonicare solutions. After that, the role is planned to transition into the Strategic Adjacencies team, where you will help accelerate growth through adjacent categories and bring innovative thinking into go-to-market execution. The transition is intended after 6 months and is subject to business needs and performance.

This role offers a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on innovation development in a truly international environment. You will help elevate oral care as a central part of daily health and well-being by creating breakthrough concepts that improve consumer experiences and support better oral health outcomes.

During the first rotation, you will be part of the Global Power Toothbrush category team, working alongside colleagues across the value chain. After the rotation, you will join the Strategic Adjacencies team as your longer-term home base. Across both phases, you will create and test future solutions that bridge consumer desires, dental professional needs, and business opportunities.

Your role

Phase 1 (first 6 months): Next Gen Innovation

  • Generate and validate consumer insights through qualitative and quantitative research, concept testing, and co-creation with consumers and dental professionals.
  • Develop strong value propositions that resonate with consumers, retailers, and dental professionals, differentiating Sonicare in key markets.
  • Lead innovation projects with discipline from concept through industrialization readiness and launch planning, following stage-gate ways of working.
  • Help shape the long-term innovation roadmap by integrating validated concepts into portfolio direction.
  • Create business cases and assess the desirability, feasibility, and viability of new ideas, aligned with Sonicare’s innovation strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D, design, clinical, strategy, and regional teams to turn early concepts into scalable opportunities.
  • Synthesize complex data into actionable recommendations for senior leadership.

Phase 2 (after 6 months): Strategic Adjacencies

  • Apply innovative thinking to accelerate growth in adjacent categories through sharper consumer propositions, portfolio choices, and commercialization plans.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives from proposition to launch, partnering with regions and channels to drive adoption and performance.
  • Translate consumer and professional insights into messaging, activation toolkits, and claim-support inputs, aligned with regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Identify new adjacency opportunities, quantify market potential, and propose roadmap actions that balance speed, risk, and impact.
  • Bring an entrepreneurial, consumer-centric mindset to unlock new growth engines for the Oral Health Care business.

You’re the right fit if:

  • You hold a university degree or MBA in business, marketing, innovation management, or a related field.
  • You bring 5+ years of relevant experience in consumer marketing, front-end innovation, or product strategy, ideally in a global FMCG or healthcare context.
  • You have proven skills in insights generation, value proposition design, and roadmap development.
  • You combine conceptual thinking with the ability to turn ideas into clear, pragmatic opportunities.
  • You are comfortable leading projects in complex, cross-functional environments and influencing stakeholders across markets and disciplines.
  • You have experience leading cross-functional teams through stage-gate processes from concept to launch.
  • You are energized by a two-phase assignment that starts in front-end innovation and transitions into scaling growth in adjacent categories.
  • You can move smoothly between discovery work (insights and concepts) and delivery work (commercialization and execution).
  • You thrive in ambiguity early on, then drive clarity, plans, and outcomes as projects mature.
  • You are a structured communicator, skilled at visual storytelling and presenting recommendations with impact.
  • You are entrepreneurial, self-driven, and energized by shaping the future.
  • Fluent in English (written & verbal).
