At the Philips Healthcare training center, we provide task-oriented learning on Philips Healthcare products.

The Technical Trainer (Learning Services Delivery Specialist) is responsible for delivering instructor-led and virtual training to Field Service Engineers and biomedical engineers. As part of the global Diagnostic X-ray (DXR) Education team, you will provide training to ensure engineers are qualified to perform service-related activities on Diagnostic X-ray systems. The delivered products are technical training, hands-on and virtual training, and courseware self-study packages like e-learning.

Your role:

Course delivery

  • Delivering training courses to Field Service engineers and customer audiences at our Training Center and delivering virtual training.
  • Your focus is technical training on Diagnostic X-ray products and related services.
  • Arrange systems and lab environment to ensure that the courses can be delivered in the most optimum conditions.
  • Ensuring that the departmental safety regulations are followed to guarantee the safety of the students and others.
  • Evaluating the courses and assessing the students to get feedback with which to improve course quality and service information to the targets as set by the business.
  • Gain field experiences to get a realistic view of the products and student environment to deliver training more appropriately.
  • Adhere to the QMS policy and processes for Education to enable a standardized course development and delivery.

Course development

  • Co-develop course materials for various delivery methods (e.g., instructor-led, eLearning, web-based, etc.).
  • Analyze learner feedback and training outcomes to identify trends and areas for improvement, using this data to make informed recommendations for enhancing learning services and content.

You're the right fit if:

  • Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, electronics/mechatronics.
  • 2+ years of experience in technical training/formal training.
  • Didactical degree or didactical training experience.
  • Experience in delivering virtual/web-based training is preferred.
  • Subject Matter Expertise in diagnostic medical equipment or comparable professional industry.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and graphics creation programs.
  • Able to travel 10% of the time, which may include international travel.
