Your impact

In this role as E-commerce Market Lead (SKI) for France, you will be fully accountable for accelerating market share growth and optimizing contribution margin in line with Sunweb Group’s strategic ambitions. You will drive tactical brand and sales campaigns, experiment to increase high-quality traffic, and work closely with E-commerce, Product, Pricing, and Content teams to ensure our strategy truly resonates with French consumers.

By translating insights and performance data into action, you will continuously refine our media mix, messaging, and activation strategy. You will manage the local marketing budget, anticipate market trends and booking behavior, and ensure that daily marketing decisions consistently support and exceed commercial targets.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing Ski and collaborating with fellow Digital Marketing Managers, you will play a pivotal role in SKI’s growth journey in France. This is a unique opportunity to shape the success of a trusted winter sports travel brand and help it become a household name.

Your responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of the French marketing budget and ensure all activities support sales, margin, and marketing cost targets.
  • Report key metrics and performance insights to senior management on a regular basis.
  • Execute, adapt, and track brand and sales campaigns aligned with the international marketing calendar while tailoring them to local needs.
  • Monitor and analyze digital performance daily, generating actionable insights across paid, owned, and earned channels.
  • Innovate and experiment with new formats to grow traffic, engagement, and conversion rates.
  • Develop initiatives that strengthen customer loyalty and increase repeat purchase behavior.
  • Share results and findings in weekly trading meetings, drawing on competition analyses, booking data, and digital performance—collaborating closely with online advertising specialists, product managers, and data teams.
  • Establish and nurture local marketing and communication partnerships that amplify the SKI brand presence in France.

What skills will bring you to the top?

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within a B2C e-commerce environment.
  • Strong expertise in digital marketing channels, performance measurement, and tools such as Excel, Google Analytics, and Power BI.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead growth initiatives and coordinate effectively across multiple stakeholders.
  • A sharp commercial mindset with a proven track record of driving ROAS, improving contribution margins, and achieving commercial and brand objectives.
  • Experience managing seven-figure budgets and strong capabilities in strategic planning and project management.
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English, with the ability to translate complex insights into clear recommendations.
  • Deep knowledge of the French market is a strong advantage; experience in the tourism or ski travel industry is a significant plus.
  • You are willing to travel at least once per month to our office in Paris to collaborate closely with different teams.
