Industry Expert - Construction and Engineering

This role challenges you to

We are looking for an Industry Expert who really wants to make an impact in the construction and engineering sector. You will strengthen the Office of the CFO by taking financial processes to a higher level. With your pragmatic consultancy experience and entrepreneurial spirit, you will proactively attract relationships within your network. Together with customers, you will take clear steps, whereby your industry knowledge offers strategic added value. In short: strong in content, commercially sharp and result-oriented.

What are you going to do?

• You are the substantive point of contact for CFOs and finance teams.
• Together with relationship managers, you develop and present plans and propositions.
• Proactively schedule appointments within your network, identify and seize opportunities.
• Ultimate responsibility for vision, architecture and process design.
• Provide input for project proposals and quotations.
• Sharing industry knowledge: you are a sparring partner at a strategic level.
• Developing new business cases and convincing customers.
• Encourage knowledge sharing within the team.
• Monitoring quality through business consultancy and quality assurance.

• Minimum 10-15 years' experience in business consulting, with a focus on finance and transformation.
• A strong network and the commercial drive to create new opportunities.
• Extensive experience within the Construction & Engineering sector
• An entrepreneurial mindset and the drive to grow an organization.
• Experience with roadmap development and implementation of improvement projects.
• Consulting skills with a pragmatic approach.
• A performance-oriented and analytical approach, recognizing and capitalizing on opportunities.
• Excellent listening skills and communication skills.
