For our Marketing team we are looking for a digital marketing intern who gets new customers excited to join Swapfiets and thinks about ways to keep customers with Swapfiets as long as possible.

Digital Marketing - Email Marketing Internship

Your goal

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Intern with a focus on getting new members excited about joining Swapfiets. Besides that your main goal will be to improve the loyalty and engagement of our current members. As our intern you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects in a dynamic environment where you can collaborate with our marketing team. You will be working on different projects to assist our email marketeer in improving our email strategy & execution. Also, you will work on projects to improve loyalty of our members across our 8 markets. In addition you will be supporting our marketing department with researching market trends and contributing to the analysis of our campaign performance and customer loyalty. Your responsibilities

• Lead projects that aim to make the experience for Swapfiets members even better;
• Work on projects that increase the customer lifetime value;
• Research new market trends that could improve overall acquisition & retention goals;
• Assist with developing & implementing the email marketing strategy for Swapfiets members.
• Be in charge of our monthly newsletter;
• Work on new propositions for Swapfiets members.

Job requirements

Your profile

You are a student in the field of business administration, marketing, communications or digital. You are enthusiastic about email marketing, loyalty and customer experience and you are ready to improve your skills together with us at Swapfiets. You will jump in right in time as we are planning to make a big impact with a renewed acquisition and retention strategy.

You’ll bring:

• Minimum HBO-working and thinking level;
• Interested in the newest marketing strategies;
• Fluent in English.
• Available for at least four days per week
• Hands-on mentality
• Preferred start date is March or 1 to 2 weeks earlier
• Minimum internship period is 6 months
