Embedded Software Engineer

As part of our ongoing growth, we are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join our teams and work on client projects in Limburg, Netherlands.

The Position

As an Embedded Software Engineer you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for automotive UI and infotainment systems
• Work with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and low-level drivers
• Integrate software with automotive hardware platforms (MCUs, SoCs, displays, sensors)
• Collaborate with UX, HMI, and system teams to translate design concepts into technical solutions
• Debug, test, and optimize embedded software for performance, stability, and reliability
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to software architecture decisions
• Ensure compliance with automotive standards and best practices

Your profile

• Completed bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics or similar
• Strong experience in embedded C/C++ development
• Experience with RTOS (e.g., FreeRTOS, QNX, AUTOSAR Classic/Adaptive, or similar)
• Familiarity with embedded Linux or bare-metal systems
• Experience debugging embedded systems using tools such as JTAG, logic analyzers, or oscilloscopes
• Understanding of hardware and software interaction in embedded environments
