Junior Development Specialist

We look for a new Junior Development Specialist, in our department Specialized Nutrition. You will work within the compliance team.

The compliance Team is responsible for all recipes in the global portfolio. We pro actively optimize these products and are responsible for the maintenance phase of the Product Life Cycle. We adapt recipes and create guidelines for product developers.

We are the linking pin between the factory and R&D. We support the factory with recipe & processing related issues and propose improvements to R&D in WoW to ensure robust recipes.

• Good communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills in English.
• Ability to take initiative and to drive projects independently, and to connect well with colleagues in different cultures.
• Master Degree in Food Technology or equivalent area.
• Knowledge on Food safety, Quality Control and microbiology is a pre.

In our department Specialized Nutrition, the compliance Team is responsible for the accuracy and robustness all our recipes.

As developer in the team, you'll be asked to:

• Develop new recipes and adapt existing recipes according to our R&D guidelines.
• Lead small sized initiatives that and participate in the more complex initiatives that drive improvement & robustness of recipes.
• Pro actively initiate projects that contribute to recipe robustness.
• Build and maintain a relevant network with Marketing, Quality, Regulatory, and our production sites in the Netherlands, Indonesia and Nigeria.

The Infant Formula development department is based in Wageningen, The Netherlands, and consists of about 60 people. Our compliance team is within this department. We're a close team with 12 colleagues from all across the world.
