Documentation Specialist

About the role

For our team in Leiden, we are looking for a Documentation Specialist. As a Documentation Specialist you will be part of our decommissioning team in Leiden.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Support the decommissioning of a pilot plant facility.
• Write, edit, and format technical and operational documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, manuals, and templates.
• Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather information and translate complex concepts into clear documentation.
• Manage documentation within controlled systems (e.g., DMS, QMS).
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies, especially within a GMP environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biotechnology, biochemistry, biomedicine, process technology (or equivalent).
• Starter/ 1-2 years’ relevant work experience in a biotechnology or biopharmaceutical industry environment.
• Experience in a quality or GMP role in a cGMP environment is preferred.
• Strong communication skills. Dutch and English (spoken/written); daily communication language on location is English.
• Problem solving skills.
• Ability to strive in a dynamic environment.

• Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
• Flexible and able to prioritize well.
• Accurate, and attention to detail.
