What this job is about

Marketing at Poki is scaling, and with millions of players and complex cross-channel campaigns, understanding what truly drives growth is our next frontier. In this role, you become the compass for our marketing strategy. You build sophisticated measurement frameworks that tell us where best to invest our next marketing euro.

You will work at the intersection of Data Science and Marketing. You are the owner of attribution and marketing effectiveness, turning raw data into clear actionability on RoAS and incrementality. By building reliable models, you give the marketing team the confidence to scale budgets, enter new markets, and optimize campaigns across the globe.

Your challenge

Your mission is to build the “source of truth” for marketing performance. Your first year will revolve around three major challenges:

  • Define and measure the “True” ROAS. You determine how we calculate success for marketing. You will build a framework to help us calculate ROAS based on custom lookback windows and attribution models. Crucially, you will integrate predicted Lifetime Value (LTV) into our calculations, ensuring we scale based on long-term player value.
  • Build and refine attribution models. You will design, implement, and update marketing measurement frameworks (such as Multi-Touch Attribution) to understand how different channels interact and contribute to our growth.
  • Guide the marketing effectiveness by helping with reporting and taking responsibility for the dashboards. Translate complex data into actionable advice. Your insights will directly influence how 8-digit budgets are allocated across over 100 markets, ensuring we spend efficiently as we grow

You

  • Have 4+ years of experience in Marketing Analytics/Marketing Measurement
  • Possess a deep understanding of marketing measurement techniques (MMM, MTA, conversion lift studies, and causal inference)
  • Are technically strong: proficiency in SQL is a must; experience with Python/R for modelling is highly preferred
  • Can communicate complex data concepts to stakeholders (e.g., you can explain why the model matters to a marketeer)
  • Are an autonomous problem solver who enjoys the freedom to define your own roadmap
  • Have an entrepreneurial spirit; you don’t just report on the numbers, you want to influence the business outcome

Bonus experience

  • Experience working with data in multi-sided Platform businesses
  • Knowledge of the modern privacy landscape (e.g, Privacy Sandbox, iOS tracking restrictions)
