Junior PR Specialist

ASICS is looking for a Junior PR Specialist to help coordinate and execute PR activities that elevate ASICS Sportstyle's brand presence across key media outlets and markets.

Your role in our shared journey

Located at our EMEA headquarters in Hoofddorp, near Amsterdam, you'll contribute to our mission by coordinating and executing PR activities that elevate ASICS Sportstyle's brand presence across key media outlets and markets. In this role, you'll manage agency relationships, organise impactful events, and ensure seamless product operations whilst collaborating cross-functionally to deliver strong PR results and achieve monthly KPIs.

Your role will be instrumental in weaving the fabric of our movement, bringing unique perspectives and driving innovation with every step.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Manage six appointed PR agencies by providing briefings, preparing press folders, and coordinating assets to ensure effective communication and brand representation.
• Create and distribute press mailers that highlight micro-trends and key items to generate strong coverage in major media outlets.
• Organise media and partner events whilst measuring, tracking, and reporting on all PR activities to demonstrate return on investment.
• Manage product orders and forecasts including seasonal forecasts, sample orders, and collaboration forecasts to support PR initiatives.
• Ensure timely delivery of all product orders to PR agencies whilst handling invoicing, budget tracking, and vendor management.
• Collaborate with Product, Digital Marketing, Trade, and Visual Merchandising teams to execute cross-functional projects successfully.

You have the following skills:

• University degree in Marketing or a related field.
• 1-3 years of PR experience, preferably in fashion or retail.
• Adaptability to changing business priorities.
• Strong time management and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work independently or within matrix organisations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
