Data Analyst Intern (Strategy & Corporate Development) - Amsterdam

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who can join our Strategic Intelligence Data Science team within the Strategy & Corporate Development department, for a minimum of 6 months from February 2026 onwards.

Who we are

Atradius provides trade credit insurance, surety and collections services worldwide through a strategic presence in 50+ countries. Its credit insurance, bonding and collections products help protect companies throughout the world from payment risks associated with selling products and services on trade credit.

The Strategy & Corporate Development (SCD) department supports the Management Board directly through market and portfolio insights, strategic initiatives, and product and service design. The Strategic Intelligence team within SCD is responsible for providing analytical insights as part of our strategy formulation and implementation.

What will you work on?

The person appointed will assist the Strategic Intelligence team in its daily activities. Here are some examples of tasks and responsibilities:

• Contributing to the monthly reporting tasks of the team.
• Maintaining and improving our team’s SQL Server database.
• Automating our reporting processes using SQL and R.
• Analysing and visualising data.
• Undertaking your own analyses to bring fresh insights/ideas to the team.

Who are we looking for?

• BSc or MSc in a quantitative field (e.g. statistics, life/physical sciences, econometrics, data science) is preferred.
• Fluent in English.
• Proficiency with SQL is required. Knowledge of T-SQL and Microsoft SQL Server would be useful.
• Experience with Power BI dashboards is desirable.
• Knowledge of R or another programming language would be a bonus but is not required.
• Right to live and work in the Netherlands, at least for the duration of the internship.
• Would relocate to the local area to work 60% of the time in the Amsterdam office.
