We are looking for an energetic, genuine and passionate citizen willing to join our HR team for an exciting internship opportunity.

The selected candidate will support citizenM’s recruitment by helping our EU hotels in selecting the right talents for a variety of hotel-related roles. Are you energized by the desire to connect with amazing people all over the world? We’re waiting for you!

What will you learn?

• Recruitment process: Gain hands-on experience in the various stages of the recruitment process, including scheduling calls, video calls, and face-to-face meetings, while understanding their significance in selecting the right talents for hotel-related roles.
• Talent management: Learn how to manage a talent pool ('the lounge'), ensuring its readiness to fill vacancies as they arise within citizenM properties, and comprehend the importance of maintaining such a resource.
• Analytical skills: Develop the ability to analyze recruitment trends, identify areas for improvement in time-to-hire metrics, and propose innovative strategies to streamline candidate selection processes.

You are:

• Available for six or more months, starting from February or March 2026
• A student enrolled at a university or HBO studies during the entire duration of the internship
• Smart thinker with contemporary style
• Empathy and real caring for people
• Community and collaborative thinker
• Gifted at giving and receiving feedback
• Fluent in English, spoken and written. Additional language skills are well accepted
• Ambitious, motivated and eager to learn... and most importantly, you are having fun while doing it!

Location and hours

This role involves weekly travel to Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and Leiden.

Monday to Friday, full-time. Flexible schedule based on school schedule. Must have the right to work in the country.

Please note that your accommodation in the Netherlands must be confirmed one month before the start of the internship.
