As Senior Tech Lead Cloud Services, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Rabobank’s multi-cloud engineering landscape. You will lead high-performing teams, nurture talent, and ensure robust, secure IT delivery. By connecting people and ideas, you drive meaningful change and help engineers deliver business value through integrated, high-quality IT services. At Tech4Engineering, your leadership will empower over 8,000 engineers worldwide, fostering a culture of proactiveness, ownership, and continuous improvement.

Practical Examples

• Transform existing tools into scalable, user-friendly services that enable engineers to deliver value from day one.
• Guide teams through the adoption of Managed Standardized Services (MSS) and the Nexa Service Store process.
• Advance DevOps and Simplify at Scale (S@S) maturity, embedding continuous improvement and engineering excellence.

Facts & Figures

• Lead and develop squads (~35 engineers), fostering a strong engineering culture, craftsmanship, and continuous learning.
• Within the organisation, you will be part of the Tech Lead chapter, and the Area triangle of Cloud Services.

Top Responsibilities

• Own and execute the multi‑cloud delivery strategy across Azure, AWS, and GCP, ensuring platform maturity, scalability, and resilience.
• Drive operational transformation and innovation, improving delivery efficiency and ensuring 24x7 IT delivery.
• Advance S@S/DevOps maturity and embed continuous improvement practices into daily operations.
• Manage stakeholders, risks, and budgets, ensuring compliance with security standards and optimizing vendor performance.
• Standardize service onboarding via the Nexa Service Store and promote adoption of Managed Standardized Services (MSS) across the organization.

You & Your Talent

• Academic working and thinking level, proficiency in both Dutch and English at a business level.
• At least 5 years of experience in similar roles within complex IT environments.
• Deep technical expertise in cloud engineering, security, performance, and platform reliability.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to weigh interests and risks alongside the business, bring sharpness to discussions, and constructively challenge colleagues.
• Strong influencing skills at the highest level, with a focus on broad stakeholder management, people development, and behavioural change.
• Analytical and innovative thinking within defined standards, policies, and objectives, contributing to the strategic vision and IT roadmap.
