Introduction to the job

The Portfolio Delivery Department within Central CS is looking for a Global Project Manager who is able to deliver projects impacting operational processes in the field. You will take charge of the typical “triple constraints” (time, budget & scope) and manage a cross-functional team to deliver targeted non-Product (nPGP) related improvements. Strong change management and communication skills are needed to connect field, central, program, and cross-sectoral stakeholders.

The Customer Support (CS) Organization enables our customers' success by working directly in their fabs to ensure their tools operate at the highest capacity every day. This role is positioned within the Central CS team in Veldhoven, where the Portfolio Delivery Department is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of nPGP improvements. These improvements impact the operational processes engineers execute during machine maintenance, install, upgrade, and/or relocation processes, as well as supporting processes in the local back offices.

The Portfolio Delivery department contains several teams, comprising PMO, Program & Project management clusters, and Regional Engagement Managers. This vacancy is positioned in one of the “Program & Project Management” clusters.

Role and responsibilities

The Project Manager prioritizes identified work packages into a concrete project execution plan. The project delivery and deployment plan should address both Project Management aspects to realize its deliverables as well as the Change Management aspects to achieve the actual embedding and standard use of its deliverables in the regions. A well-developed vision based upon an understanding of ASML CS service operation and the drivers of its stakeholders is essential to be successful. In this role, you will:

  • Prioritize identified work packages into a concrete project execution plan.
  • Develop and execute project delivery and deployment plans addressing both Project Management and Change Management aspects to ensure deliverables are embedded and used as standard in the regions.
  • Drive the realization of the project plan by continuously optimizing current business needs, solution build or deployment considerations, while ensuring the targeted improvement is achieved.
  • Steer towards the end goal, which is the business adopting the improved step up in a sustainable way.
  • Apply strong self-drive, excellent stakeholder management, and continuous fine-tuning of the Change Management component of your project plan.

Education and experience

  • Bachelor or Master degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or a technical area.
  • Professional experience (>8 years) in project management, business transformation, or change management within international and multicultural organizations.
  • Fully at ease working with senior and middle management, as well as operational departments (e.g., engineers, back office workers).
  • Experience in consultancy is a plus.

Other Information

There are three Program & Project management clusters within the Portfolio Delivery department: 1) Field Operations and ERP Migration, 2) Security & Infrastructure, and 3) Diagnostics, Performance Management, and Material Management related topics. Your first assignment will be in one of these clusters.

Travel requirement is approximately 10%.
