With over 100 international design awards, our strength in product design is recognized throughout the world. We share our knowledge and keep learning from others with our strong links with universities and regular lectures at symposia.

We develop and produce high-tech print products and workflow software for the commercial printing market as part of Canon, a global leader in imaging technologies. With approximately 3,300 employees across three continents and our headquarters in Venlo, the Netherlands, we innovate to create high-quality solutions that add color to the world. With our company values of collaboration, innovation, and ownership, we strive to bring out the best in each other, push boundaries, and feel empowered to take ownership in our work.

What You’ll Do

As a Senior/Lead Industrial Product Designer, you will translate Canon Production Printing’s brand equity into high-quality product designs where product identity and optimal ergonomics are central. Product Design at CPP is about both design and implementation. You will work on the quality, innovativeness, and vision of CPP’s brand equity, in collaboration with our design colleagues in Tokyo. As an in-house designer, you will build and nourish a portfolio of products.

As part of our Research & Development organization, you’ll work alongside highly skilled professionals to design the next generation of our products. In multidisciplinary project teams, you will shape, refine, safeguard, and implement your design ideas all the way into final products. You continuously aim higher and are driven to create innovative, excellent, and groundbreaking solutions. Exciting changes in technology will change the way users interact with products, and you will imagine how these changes could influence and benefit our products. With your creative vision and designs, you will ensure we are at the forefront of these changes.

Who You’ll Work With

The CPP Design team (about 25 professionals) is primarily located in Venlo and collaborates with all CPP sites worldwide, as well as with our design colleagues in Tokyo. Our goal is to create high-quality products for professionals through one unified user experience for all CPP solutions: hardware, software, as well as services. The focus of the team is on design research, UX design, product design, and usability design.
