The International Regions Marketing Leader, S&RC is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of marketing strategies based on strong consumer, customer, and people insights. The role reviews and collaborates on a multi-year marketing plan and supports in developing consistent go-to-market strategies. This position drives engagement through digital communities, manages peer-to-peer engagements, and optimizes demand generation campaigns. The role also directs Insights & Analytics, deploys the Marketing Transformation program, and manages talent and succession planning.
Your role:
- Own the activation of the Regional Marketing Plan with defined commercial unlock priorities, customized at local and key account levels, including cross-category enablers definition.
- Orchestrate marketing cadence and launch/NPI processes across the region, ensuring strategy and execution are synchronized.
- Place the consumer and customer at the center by thoroughly understanding local and regional needs and insights at both customer and consumer levels to impact regional plans.
- Lead Integrated Marketing efforts, aligning with global business and marketing objectives to drive overall brand strength and execute brand activities.
- Drive the enhancement of end-to-end consumer experience by amplifying global propositions with superior presence, ensuring marketing excellence through strategic development and continuous optimization of demand generation activation across digital and offline channels.
- Drive media planning and effectiveness through continuous ROI improvement via MMM application, steering media briefings, and delivering media plans (in collaboration with local digital managers on zone level where applicable), including Joint Business Planning with relevant partners.
- Own external agency relationships (media, localization, creative where applicable, PR, etc.), including reviewing the roster, setting SOW and C'SAT/KPI, and auditing results and compliance in cooperation with procurement.
- Collaborate closely with (Regional) Business leaders to develop effective channel strategies to drive market growth, and facilitate shopper excellence by orchestrating promotional planning and toolkit requirements for top customers.
- Optimize creative content adaptation by channel based on performance, and complement with local content and activation where needed, while adhering to Brand and sub-Brand standards.
- Drive the elevation of philips.com to maximize engagement (measured by NPS), translating global strategies into relevant local .com plans, developing and implementing cross-category consumer engagement journeys, CRM programs, merchandising the platform, and driving collaboration with marketplace partners.
- Maintain an external focus and drive continuous benchmarking in line with market, competition, consumer, and customer trends.
- Plan and ensure alignment across the Region for A&P planning, effectiveness, and efficiency for both working and non-working spend.
- Build capabilities within your own team while raising the standard in the entire Regional community by adopting best practices and sharing standards of excellence, acting as Capability Champion for the entire Marketing organization.
- Lead succession planning and comprehensive talent management, driving employee selection, performance management, compensation management, and career development in alignment with organizational operational goals.
You're the right fit if:
- You have a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, E-Commerce Management, or equivalent (Master's preferred).
- You bring 11+ years of experience in areas such as E2E Product Management, Product Marketing, Digital Marketing, E-commerce, Marketing Research, B2B, B2C, or B2G Marketing, Brand Management, New Product Launches, Campaign Management, or equivalent.
- You are experienced in managing teams of more than 20 people, with strong competency E2E in Product Management and Product Marketing.
- You possess strong executive-level interpersonal skills.
- You are a world-class, senior-level marketing and commercial professional with a proven track record of success managing people and complex multi-discipline scenarios.
- You have demonstrated success at developing and communicating a clear strategic vision and effectively executing that vision.
- You have demonstrated ability to create and implement Marketing Strategies.
- You are able to work with and manage by influence large, diverse teams to drive business and organizational priorities.
- You have the ability to embrace change and drive change management within the organization.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
