Be part of progress: Join the TC 0025 FILD Team – Elevate Fluid Pressure Systems

At TC 0025 FILD, we drive safety, compliancy, quality, sustainability, and commonality in fluid pressure systems. As the knowledge center within the MC Cluster, we define system requirements, influence standards and legislation, and promote adherence and accessibility of knowledge across the organization. Our ambition is to elevate project teams to a maturity level where they can confidently apply our expertise and tools to deliver safe and compliant fluid pressure systems.

Your assignment

You will assist the FILD Competence Team in designing and implementing a documentation roll-out structure. This includes defining workflows and support processes that ensure end users, such as designers, architects, and supplier quality engineers, are properly trained, informed, and aware of the applicable design rules. Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Supporting the development of internal processes for document creation, version control, and publication
  • Assisting FILD engineers in structuring the roll-out of documentation to relevant end-user groups
  • Developing a scalable review process framework to guide FILD engineers in identifying appropriate stakeholders based on document type
  • Creating templates or checklists to support reviewer selection (e.g., safety, compliance, design, project leads)
  • Ensuring the review process remains flexible and adaptable to evolving roles and responsibilities
  • Defining workflows that ensure documentation users are properly trained and informed
  • Collaborating with FILD engineers to align documentation efforts with team objectives
  • Working with FILD stakeholders to co-develop an effective roll-out strategy
  • Providing structured input to improve internal workflows and enhance knowledge accessibility

This is a bachelor or master (non-thesis) internship for a minimum of 6 months, with at least 3 days per week (1-3 days on-site). The start date of this internship is around February 2026.

Your profile

To be suitable for the internship, you:

  • Have a background in Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
  • Have an interest in engineering documentation, process design, and internal tooling
  • Have experience in process development, workflow design, or a technical background in fluid systems design (preferred but not required)
  • Possess solid organizational and analytical skills
  • Are proactive and capable of working both independently and collaboratively
  • Possess great communication skills in English, both written and verbal

Other requirements you need to meet:

  • You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship
  • You need to be located in the Netherlands to be able to perform your internship. If you’re currently living or studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter should include your willingness to relocate.
  • If you are a non-EU citizen studying in the Netherlands, your university must be willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
