Tax Manager

As a member of the global tax team at Liberty Blume, you will work on projects and initiatives in various areas of Transfer Pricing and NL tax compliance. You will be responsible for our Dutch service offerings related to transfer pricing and NL tax compliance, including Dutch tax returns, quarterly tax reporting, and Pillar II. Your role will involve researching tax technical issues, preparing memorandums to support tax positions, and playing a key part in developing more junior colleagues within the tax team, including graduates. This is an excellent opportunity to become a well-rounded tax professional with significant growth potential. Full training will be provided in any relevant tax areas where you may lack experience.

What will you be doing?

• Work with senior team members on Transfer Pricing projects and liaise with external vendors.
• Advise on various Dutch Transfer Pricing and Tax Compliance matters, including advising the business on tax-efficient incentives and benefits reporting.
• Support the quarterly and annual NL tax reporting process, including Pillar II, and work comfortably with different accounting standards (local GAAP, US GAAP, IFRS, etc.).
• Design, implement, and review transfer pricing policies and prepare transfer pricing documentation (e.g., master file and local file).
• Collaborate with our TP desk and Finance teams to deliver excellent service to the LG Group and beyond.
• Work with external advisors, ensuring tax fees and resources are efficiently and appropriately deployed.
• Foster a collaborative environment within the tax team to achieve group goals and objectives.

• A strong foundation in and experience with Transfer Pricing and/or NL tax compliance (tax returns and tax accounting), and a strong drive to learn new areas.
• Excellent command of English in both oral and written communications; fluency in Dutch is essential.
• An agile mindset with the ability to work independently and drive projects forward as a self-starting, energized problem solver.
• Proactive, quick learner, and a team player.

Desirable Skills & Abilities:

• Fluency in Dutch.
• Strong technical knowledge and judgment regarding Transfer Pricing principles and/or Dutch tax compliance (e.g., tax returns and tax accounting).
• Experience with a large international group is preferable but not essential.
• Ability to make judgments regarding international tax and compliance principles.
• Proven experience managing workloads: highly organized, strong attention to detail, and able to manage multiple workstreams and deliver to deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to explain tax concepts appropriately to stakeholders and contacts across the business.
• Good understanding of business and commercial matters, with the ability to interact effectively with senior Tax team members and other stakeholder teams (e.g., Finance Operations, Treasury, Legal).
