At Royal IHC’s head office in the Netherlands, we have an opening for a Tax Manager with extensive knowledge of corporate income tax law, transfer pricing, and an equal amount of hands-on experience.

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Tax Manager to join our international tax team, based in Kinderdijk. This role focuses on the international tax consequences of a project-driven business, managing and coordinating tax compliance and reporting processes across multiple jurisdictions and transfer pricing, with a strong emphasis on process improvement, digitalization, and strategic support. You will be part of a dynamic team, reporting to the Head of Tax.

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing high quality (international) tax advice on cross-border tax issues in relation to Royal IHC’s international projects.
  • Monitoring and implementing the company’s transfer pricing policy and ensuring compliance with local documentation requirements.
  • Reviewing and monitoring corporate tax compliance obligations across all jurisdictions to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Assisting local finance teams with local statutory tax disclosures and tax reconciliations.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement and automation of tax compliance processes.
  • Participating in projects and initiatives to drive process improvements, optimize tax efficiency, and digitalization of the tax function.
  • Monitoring changes in tax legislation across relevant jurisdictions and assisting with determining the impact on the company’s financial statements and tax positions.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to facilitate effective communication and cooperation on tax-related matters.

You have:

The ideal candidate is a motivated tax professional, looking to develop further within a fast-paced international environment. You are technically strong, have a broad understanding of corporate income tax matters, are pragmatic, and enjoy a role where you alternate between hands-on tax work and strategic tax thinking.

To be successful in this position you:

  • Have a bachelor or master degree in Tax law or Fiscal economics.
  • At least 6 years relevant working experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both in Dutch and English.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Have a valid EU work visa.
  • Love taxation!

Royal IHC offers you:

  • A gross monthly salary between €5700 and €8354 + 8% holiday allowance (based on a fulltime working week).
  • Good work/life balance with 40 vacation days (for full-time employment) with the option to buy or sell (additional) leave.
  • A profit-sharing scheme.
  • Possibility to work from home, for which you receive a net expense allowance of €2.45 per day plus a one-time net payment of €750 to set up your home office.
  • A net travel allowance (€0.21 per kilometer) for the days you commute to the office.
  • At Royal IHC, we care not only about your work today but also about your well-being tomorrow. That’s why we take care of things you’d rather not worry about, such as disability insurance and a partner’s pension. In addition, you can voluntarily participate in our Social Fund, which reimburses costs for healthcare and related expenses not covered by your health insurance.
  • You will build a solid pension through PME, so you can also count on financial security later in life.
  • You’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop yourself: a training budget and access to our IHC Academy to support your growth.
  • Unlimited sporting in our own fitness room (in exchange for the sustainable employability day).
