Internship Marketing - PR & Events

Your Tasks

What will you do?

• Mainly act as the main point of contact for HKM ambassadors, managing day-to-day communication and support.
• Coordinate onboarding for new HKM ambassadors and ensure smooth integration into the program.
• Collect ambassador-generated content and manage related submissions.
• Handle order placements for ambassadors and maintain accurate records.
• Assist with planning and participation in ambassador events and, when possible, PR events hosted by Hunkemöller or external partners.
• Support global PR activities, including daily communication with international PR agencies.
• Organize new collections for PR purposes and assist with joint promotions, charity initiatives, and collaborations.
• Prepare PR reports and contribute to tracking campaign performance.

About You

• You are passionate about fashion, event planning and both print and online media.
• You have a strong interest and knowledge in communications, media relations and event planning.
• You are in your 3rd or 4th year of Bachelor/HBO level studies with a focus on marketing/communication.
• You are fluent in English (Dutch is a benefit but not required) and have a keen interest in retail.
• You are structured, love multi-tasking, and enjoy variety.
• You are a team player, proactive, and creative.
• No thesis possible in this role.

• Work From Home (WFH) Policy: For 40-hour internships, you are allowed to work from home up to 3 days per week, depending on the nature of your role. During onboarding, WFH days may vary to better support your learning and training. We have a 60:40 policy based on your working hours.

• Internship Allowance: 450€ per month (gross) with 8+ holiday days (based on 40h/week).

• Travel Allowance: Max. 23€ per day (based on your travel distance), if you are not eligible for the free Student OV Chipcard.

• Additional Benefits: Access to 25% staff discount on all Hunkemöller products, with occasional additional discounts of 25-35% on new collections. You will also receive a company laptop and be invited to company gatherings like Townhalls and drinks.

• Hunkemöller Academy: Continuous learning opportunities and professional growth are supported through various training programs and workshops.

Eligibility Criteria

For this internship, you need to be available for 5 months starting in February 2026. Your application will only be considered if you are enrolled at a school or university for the full duration of the internship. Additionally, to comply with Dutch law, one of the following must apply:

• You are an EU citizen,
• You are on a Family/Partner visa, or
• You are a non-EU student studying in the Netherlands, and you meet at least one of the following requirements: (1) The internship is a mandatory part of your curriculum, OR (2) your university is willing to sign a third-party agreement (Nuffic Agreement).

* Please be aware that not all our potential entry-level positions will meet the minimum salary required by the IND for sponsorship by Hunkemöller.
