Business Economics/Finance Internship: Business Analyst Capital Efficiency

ASML’s Capital Efficiency department manages worldwide business insights and control for invested and working capital. We do this with a team of highly professional and motivated people based in Veldhoven, Berlin, and Wilton.

Your assignment

Currently, we are hiring for three interns within the Capital Efficiency team. Each intern will work as a full member of the team, with end-to-end responsibility for reporting tasks, ad-hoc analyses, and project support. High-level differences between the three roles are:

• Working Capital, Free Cashflow, and Balance Sheet Control: This role has a broad scope, focusing on consolidated insights by combining individual drivers such as Inventory, Accounts Receivables, and Accounts Payables into combined and coherent insights.
• R&D Capex Control Internship: Primarily involves supporting Capex management for the D&E and Business Lines Programs, with opportunities to support other Capex-related topics and initiatives.
• CRE Internship: Encompasses support in CAPEX & OPEX management, as well as management of the CRE Improvements Roadmap with the team.

This is a Bachelor/Master internship with a minimum duration of 6 months, 4-5 days per week, with sufficient flexibility to spend time on university (course)work. The internship will start in February 2026.

Your profile

To be a match for this internship, you:

• Are a master student at university level in the field of Business Economics/Finance.
• Have an outstanding academic record and have proven affinity with topics related to business analytics, data analyses, and/or business intelligence.
• Are motivated to work in a high-tech company and have a keen interest to develop your practical skills in a challenging and dynamic business environment.
• Have strong analytical and communication skills, are capable of working independently with high accuracy, and able to handle a high level of responsibility.
• Have strong English skills, both verbally and in writing.

Other requirements you need to meet:

• You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship.
• You are located in the Netherlands to perform your internship. In case you are currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter should include your willingness to relocate.
• If you are a non-EU citizen studying in the Netherlands, your university must be willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
• Attach your cover letter with a clear motivation why you are interested in this internship assignment in particular.
