Medior Quality Engineer AMS

Over 20 connected applications rely on your testing expertise. You help safeguard the quality of authorisation management for more than 49,000 Rabobank colleagues worldwide.

You & your role

Drive quality assurance across the AMS (Authorisation Management Services) team by designing and executing test strategies, analysing results, and collaborating on continuous improvement initiatives as a Medior Quality Engineer. You ensure robust testing across a complex backend landscape, contribute to automation in .NET, and support live systems in Azure. You work closely with a senior QA in an international DevOps team to deliver secure, high-quality authorisation services for Rabobank’s wholesale clients.

Examples from practice

• Testing across dozens of integrated applications, ensuring smooth data authorisation flows between systems.
• Writing and maintaining Gherkin-based test cases; contributing to automated testing in C#/.NET.
• Validating backend processes via REST APIs and SQL queries.

Top 3 responsibilities

• Ensure quality through manual and automated testing, using C# and Specflow/Reqnroll, and validating backend processes with REST APIs and SQL.
• Collaborate closely with the DevOps team and product owner by actively participating in sprints, solution reviews, and operational support.
• Identify and communicate risks and improvements by acting as a quality ambassador and challenging technical decisions to drive continuous improvement.

As a Medior Quality Engineer, you will help shape the future of authorisation management, working with advanced automation and supporting live systems in Azure.

You & your talent

• Manual and automated testing: Experience with C# for test automation in combination with Specflow/Reqnroll (mandatory), experience with ATDD, Gherkin-format, feature files (pre).
• Experience with context-driven, exploratory and/or concurrent testing.
• SQL proficiency: writing queries to prepare and analyse test data.
• Experience with REST API testing (backend/middleware validation).
• Familiarity with structured test methods (ISTQB, TMap).
• Worked in Agile/Scrum environments.
