Accounts Payable Administrator

Sunweb Group is looking for an Accounts Payable Administrator to join our Finance department. As an Accounts Payable Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the company's financial transactions, ensuring that all invoices are processed timely and accurately and can be paid on due date.

Your impact

As an AP administrator, you will join our Operations team, which is part of the Finance department. This team focuses on processing invoices, solving processing issues, and driving continuous process and system improvements to automate the work as much as possible. During the week, you will spend approximately 25% of your time improving current processes, 35% in contact by mail and telephone with mostly international creditors and internal stakeholders, and 40% checking and matching invoices.

• Process invoices and ensure accuracy of data
• Manage vendor relationships and resolve any issues that arise
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and subledgers
• Assist with month-end closing and other accounting tasks as needed

What skills will bring you to the top?

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. Experience with accounting software—preferably NetSuite—and scan software is beneficial. You should be comfortable working with substantial amounts of data under time pressure, especially during peak holiday seasons.

• Critical thinking and great communication skills
• 3+ years of related work experience within Accounts Payable/Finance in an international setting, with proven exposure to financial operations in the Netherlands or wider EU
• Fluent in English; additional European languages (e.g., Dutch, German, French) are a plus
• Preferably a bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or similar
• Able to work at our office in Rotterdam 2-3 times a week
