As our Commercial Retail Analyst, you’ll play a crucial role in driving commercial performance by turning data into clear, actionable insights. Through your work, you'll help shape decisions across commercial programs, sales, and operational planning—making a tangible impact on our Retail business.

You have a passion for transforming complex data into simple, compelling stories. Whether you’re diving into country-level KPIs, analyzing training or promotions, or advising internal teams on dashboarding solutions, your insights will directly influence strategic actions across our Retail markets. Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills will be essential, as you’ll either lead or support key initiatives, always working alongside a collaborative and ambitious team.

In this role you shine by:

  • Analyzing and preparing data from PowerBI to uncover trends, relationships, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Translating insights into clear summaries and dashboards tailored to a non-technical audience.
  • Evaluating retail performance (e.g., campaigns, commercial moments and events, short shelf-time items) and sharing actionable recommendations to steer future and interim results.
  • Deep diving into key topics affecting shop floor performance and retail programs.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align on forecasting, stock levels, promotions, innovations, and long-term planning.
  • Continuously optimizing and supporting the reporting processes for accuracy, transparency, and impact.

The role is based at our Amsterdam HQ, so we are looking for someone already living in The Netherlands.

On top of this, you bring:

  • 1 - 3 years experience in Commercial Analytics (retail industry ideal)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills—building trust, aligning priorities, and communicating clearly across teams and partners.
  • Solid project management capabilities—planning, prioritizing, and driving initiatives forward independently and in a team.
  • Experienced with AI
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, with a strong numeric and analytical skill set.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
  • A proactive, hands-on mentality and a structured way of working.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
  • Comfort navigating change, ambiguity, and business challenges with optimism and resilience.

About the Team:

Together with 11 colleagues you are part of our young and ambitious Retail Commercial Development Team which is part of the bigger Retail team at our Central Head office in Amsterdam. Our team consists of a fun mix of people with various backgrounds and areas of expertise. We all have a huge sense of commitment, we love to connect with each other, exchange ideas and knowledge.
