About this role

The Global Sales and Operations Strategy team is a driving force behind growth at Just Eat Takeaway.com. We are creating a new hybrid sales environment where sellers and AI agents work together to enhance our sales experience and deliver for our partners. We are looking for a visionary operational leader to play a leading role in this transition.

As the Head of AI-enabled Sales Operations, you will be responsible for building and leading the operational function that underpins our AI-enabled sales operations. This role involves leading a dedicated team of sales operation specialists in the configuration, rigorous testing, continuous monitoring, and refinement of AI agents, thereby contributing directly to revenue growth, cost optimisation, and enhanced partner experience.

These are some of the key components to the position:

Your success hinges on building and leading a team that delivers operational excellence and tangible business results. Your focus areas will include:

  • Function leadership & talent development: Build, lead, and develop the entire Automated Sales Operations team, including hiring and managing partner-facing Sales Coaches and technical Operations Specialists. Foster a highly collaborative culture to achieve set goals.
  • AI Agent life-cycle management and testing: Work closely with sales transformation, process, and data teams, providing input required to bring agents from concept to launch to business-as-usual (BAU). Establish processes for user acceptance testing (UAT), ensure a flawless launch, and manage the stable, BAU performance of all tools.
  • AI-Agent Performance Management and Continuous Improvement: Establish and oversee the framework for managing the performance of our sales agents. Drive a cycle of continuous improvement, including A/B testing, root cause analysis for performance issues, and systematic refinement of our sales processes. Lead collaboration with key partners in Data Science and Process Management to translate insights into tangible system and process enhancements.

What will you bring to the team?

We’re looking for an ambitious and data-driven operational leader, ready to build and scale a new global capability. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience leading tech-enabled operations: Proven track record of running a business operations or sales operations team that uses technology to drive commercial results. Ability to build processes and teams that get the most out of a modern tech stack.
  • Operational & systems thinking: Strong understanding of how complex technical systems work together. Able to lead a team that manages a tech ecosystem and hold credible, outcome-focused conversations with data science and engineering leaders.
  • Salesforce & AI Foundations: Experience with the Salesforce ecosystem is a significant advantage, though not mandatory.
  • Strong program & process management: Deep expertise in program management and process design. Ability to build a roadmap, manage competing priorities, and implement efficient, scalable workflows from the ground up.
  • Adaptive leadership & team development: Proven experience leading and developing high-performing, multi-disciplinary teams. Ability to hire for distinct skill sets (such as commercial coaching and technical operations) and unite them under a single vision.
  • Data-driven, commercial mindset: Relentless focus on the numbers, with the ability to analyse operational performance data and connect it directly to commercial outcomes like revenue growth, partner satisfaction, and cost efficiency.
