Do you enjoy building experiments that make an immediate impact on user experience and business outcomes? At Small Giants, we help major brands such as O'Neill, Philips and Maandag grow through smart digital solutions. Our specialty lies in e‑commerce and recruitment, where conversion optimization makes a real difference every single day.

We’re looking for an A/B Developer: someone who loves turning ideas into experiments, enjoys creative problemsolving with code, and works closely with CRO specialists and customers to bring tests to life. With us, you’ll spend most of your time creating and developing experiments in SiteSpect and VWO, while learning from sharp CRO minds and having fun along the way.

You will also have the opportunity to grow your skills in modern frameworks like Next.js by learning on the job. Building components, testing new setups and creating whole new jobsites to take your front-end development experience to the next level!

What you’ll do:

  • Spend around 70% of your time coding DOM manipulations in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to set up experiments. Debugging is a big part of this as well! Collaborate with CRO specialists on test ideation, logic and feasibility.
  • Implement test variations based on Figma designs and ensure smooth hand-over to tracking specialists for data validation. Work with customers to get experiments live, while learning directly from specialists in the field.

Together, these solutions actually make an impact.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript (DOM manipulation is your daily bread).
  • Solid understanding of HTML and CSS. Flexbox and positioning context have no secrets for you.
  • Experience with Git/version control workflows.
  • Figma familiarity is a plus; understanding how to translate a design to live code!
  • Knowledge of Next.js is a pre.
  • 1–5 years of experience in web development (junior or medior level).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Fluent English is required; Dutch is a pre.

About you:

You’re curious, eager to take on challenges, and love turning creative ideas into working solutions. You collaborate easily with CRO specialists and customers, while being confident enough to own your code and deliver independently. Do you see yourself growing into a key player within a development team?

What we offer:

  • A competitive salary tailored to your experience (€3,000 – €4,000).
  • 30 days of holiday to rest and recharge.
  • Hybrid working: flexibility to work from home or at our Utrecht office (ideally 2 days per week).
  • Travel reimbursement (€0.23/km, NS Business Card or e-bike lease).
  • A laptop and €45 monthly phone allowance.
  • Room to grow, develop yourself, and help build a strong team.

You’ll work with people who want to move forward. Fast thinkers, sharp minds, and teammates who love to create great things together. At Small Giants, you’ll get the space to build, the freedom to experiment, and colleagues who think with you.
