About the role

As our Brand & Content Manager, you’ll own Virtuagym’s high-level content and brand growth vision while staying hands-on to bring bold ideas to life. You’ll be responsible for our content strategy, shaping our thought leadership, leading creative initiatives, and ensuring our brand sets the tone in the fitness technology industry.

This isn’t about maintaining – it’s about creating. You’ll design and deliver initiatives that build brand authority, fuel awareness in new markets, and connect Virtuagym to the conversations that matter most. You have a sharp eye for what looks amazing and an instinct for what works. From podcasts and video formats to influencer ecosystems, PR, and high-impact product launches, you’ll be the creative engine that pushes our brand beyond the expected.

While you’ll collaborate closely with a team, you’re just as capable of producing outstanding work independently – editing, designing layouts, creating video, and more. As a master of content creation, you’ll inspire and empower others to deliver work that elevates Virtuagym’s brand to the next level.

You’ll play a key role in exploring how AI can elevate our storytelling, from scaling content creation and creative ideation to optimizing campaign performance and audience insights.

This role combines strategy with execution. You’ll work closely with Marketing, Product & Sales to align initiatives with business growth goals.

We are a remote-friendly company, offering flexibility to work from home within the Netherlands or anywhere in the EU. You can also work from our Amsterdam office, with its beautiful sunny garden in the heart of the city.

What you’ll do

• Define and own Virtuagym’s brand and content strategy, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and growth priorities.
• Develop thought leadership initiatives that position Virtuagym as a leading voice in fitness tech, using data, insights, and storytelling.
• Create and launch creative brand-building projects — from podcasts and video series to co-marketing campaigns and event activations.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance content ideation, production, and optimization across formats and markets.
• Lead PR initiatives, including media outreach, press releases, and building relationships with key industry influencers.
• Act as campaign owner for high-profile product launches and market initiatives, ensuring cross-functional alignment and flawless delivery.
• Lead-by-example, mentoring the content team while actively participating in content creation, ensuring high-quality output of short-form and long-form content that aligns with our brand voice and business goals.
• Experiment with emerging technologies, including AI-driven analytics and automation, to improve content performance and audience engagement.

What you bring

• Proven experience in brand building, content strategy, or thought leadership; experience in B2B SaaS and the fitness industry is a plus.
• A strategic mindset combined with strong execution skills — equally confident in board-level discussions and hands-on content creation.
• Track record of leading creative campaigns or launches end-to-end.
• Hands-on PR and influencer management experience, with existing fitness industry knowledge and networks a strong plus.
• Understanding of how to apply AI tools and automations to streamline content workflows, enhance creativity, and drive measurable results.
• A creative, entrepreneurial mindset — you thrive on bold ideas, experimentation, and measurable impact.
• Fluency in English and Dutch.
