Purpose Of The Role:

Assist the E-Commerce team daily in managing various aspects of the online flagship store KARL.COM, including Karl Lagerfeld E-commerce campaign project management, website content updates, and research on e-commerce web design. The internship lasts for 6 months.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support onsite content building and testing for home and landing pages (Shopify).
  • Coordinate copy localization and internal review of all editorial and commercial copies, as well as perform publication checks for go-live for all e-commerce communications.
  • Ensure all website pages are up-to-date with imagery, copy, and customer journey.
  • Work closely with the Merchandising team to maintain a clear merchandising strategy across all areas of the site.
  • Support with content research and benchmarking.
  • Assist in copy and asset briefing, ensuring all deliverables received from the Brand Marketing team align with the brief and meet quality assurance standards.
  • Support commercial activities on KARL.COM driven by other departments.

Skills, Education and Experience

  • Fashion, retail, e-commerce, or business-related studies
  • Candidates should be available full-time, 5 days a week, and must be enrolled in a university for the entire internship period
  • Familiar with MS Office
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud programs is a plus
  • Language: fluent in English, both verbal and written, additional spoken languages are a plus

  • Able to work in a fast-moving and international team
  • Able to prioritize and multitask
  • Eye for detail and visual competences
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the online retail environment
  • Flexible and adaptable, with a positive attitude
  • The start date is Oct/Nov 2025 with availability for at least six months

Please note that we can only consider your application if you are enrolled for the full duration of your internship at your school or university. Also, due to Dutch legislation, you have to be in possession of European nationality or study in the Netherlands.
