Do you want to be part of a development team that works on cool Automated Vehicles (AV)? Then come and join us in Veghel!
Within Vanderlande, we develop AVs for various applications such as baggage transport at airports or pallet handling in warehousing. These vehicles are developed by teams with various disciplines including mechanics, electronics, and software. Some parts are developed in-house and some are developed with partners. As part of continuous improvement, we analyze the performance and find ideas for improvements. We are looking for an enthusiastic student with strong analytical skills who can help us take the next step in these solutions. Your task will be testing, analyzing, and defining improvements for these solutions. Depending on your background, the detailed subject can vary.
In addition to this assignment, we ask you to be a real part of the team and assist where help is needed. This can include hands-on testing in the test center, working in a virtual environment, or performing calculations. We value fresh ideas and a proactive attitude!
Department description
The development team you will be working in consists of around 10 people and is part of the Technology department. The Automated Vehicles (AV) and Robotics team develops solutions that automate customer processes with the help of Robots and AVs (Autonomous Vehicles). The team is mainly based in Veghel, Netherlands, but also collaborates with teams in North America and India.
Tasks/responsibilities
- Work together with a multi-disciplinary team on AV developments
- Analyze issues and define improvement proposals to enhance AV solution performance
- Support the team in various tasks as needed

- Mandatory enrolment in a Dutch Education System & resident of The Netherlands
