Step into the exciting world of smart home innovation as our Product Manager for Robot Vacuum Cleaners!

You’ll champion category-defining products that redefine the future of household cleaning. You will be the voice of the consumer throughout the entire end-to-end development cycle—from value proposition ideation with Marketing, to product specification, development, launch, and lifecycle management. Your mission is to ensure our robot vacuum cleaner solutions delight targeted customer segments and exceed expectations for convenience, performance, and smart integration. After new product introductions (NPI), you will lead ongoing improvements in response to consumer feedback and market trends, championing actions that strengthen satisfaction, user experience, and category leadership. Reporting to the Product Lead, your efforts will ensure that our robot vacuum cleaner innovations align with Versuni’s strategic goals and deliver measurable impact through cross-functional collaboration. The impact you’ll make:

  • Translate the Robot Vacuum Cleaner Category Strategy—originating from the Marketing team—into distinctive project specifications for robot vacuum cleaners, supporting proposition development and ensuring our offerings stand out in a crowded market.
  • Act as the internal subject matter expert for robot vacuum cleaners: monitor competitor models and features, identify gaps in performance, and drive competitive benchmarking at key price points.
  • Co-create compelling value propositions for new robot vacuum cleaner models in partnership with Marketing, synthesizing consumer insights, pain points, usage dilemmas, where to play, size of the prize and unique claims such.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to consolidate robust business cases built on market data, forecasted sales, ROI, IGM%, and optimal SKU mix for the robot vacuum cleaner portfolio.
  • Partner with Project Leaders to represent the consumer’s perspective throughout the development process. And work together with our User Experience Researchers (UXR) on designing and overseeing comprehensive user and field testing studies to ensure products deliver real-world value.
  • After product launch, gather and analyze feedback from markets, consumer care channels, and Voice of the Customer (VoC) data. Work closely with Quality and Marketing teams to drive targeted improvements and address any issues impacting user satisfaction.
  • During Lifecycle Management (LCM), collaborate with the LCM team to plan updates, range extensions and end-of-life strategies. Coordinate with supply and DFX leads to optimize profitability and reduce complexity in the robot vacuum lineup.

KPI’s

  • On-time Delivery: Percentage of robot vacuum cleaner projects launched on schedule.
  • Business Objectives Met: Percentage of new products achieving targets for turnover and IGM%.
  • Product Quality & Consumer Satisfaction: percentage of deliverables meeting the standards, ratings & reviews.
  • Stakeholder Feedback: Satisfaction with project management and marketing.
  • Team Efficiency: Effective resource use and process discipline throughout development and launch phases

The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:

  • 5+ years in product management or proposition management, ideally within (smart) home appliances or IoT.
  • Proven experience managing projects, budgets, timelines, and risks.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business or a related field.
  • Strong analytical abilities, with a flair for translating data and consumer insights into compelling product features.
  • Excellent communicator and influencer, comfortable working with cross-functional teams including R&D, UX/UI, and digital platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for innovation in smart home technology and a keen eye for emerging trends in robotic cleaning.
