The ideal candidate should be a degree holder, have at least five years of procurement-related experience in any discipline, and preferably, from a company with a global supply chain. The candidate must possess a comprehensive understanding of how commodities are traded in a generic supply chain and the associated risks. The candidate should be service-oriented, efficient and able to cope with organisational complexities. As a basic requirement, you should demonstrate a keen sense of responsibility for your work and continuously look for new opportunities to make positive changes.

Description du poste vacant

The successful candidate’s daily activities include monitoring price changes in allocated commodity categories, originating and implementing sourcing strategies, managing external and internal stakeholders, complying with all company policies, and collaborating with the back-office team to ensure accurate contractual positions. The candidate shall work independently on selected commodities and will be part of a team reporting to one manager. The candidate will need to travel for work within Europe but sometimes, intercontinental travel may also be required.
