Our Continuous Process Improvement, Business Process Management, and Risk Management Internship offers you the chance to develop business acumen, innovation, unleash creativity, and build continuous improvement and process/risk skills that are increasingly relevant in today’s business environments. The focus is 100% on business transactional processes such as Finance, Procurement, Commerce, Marketing, and Human Resources.

The internship

During your internship, you will have the opportunity to get to know HEINEKEN as a company, not just within your own department but across the organization.   • Support the implementation of a Continuous Improvement framework within 72 Operating Companies in 4 different regions and Global Functions.
  • Support the Global Process Excellence Team in innovating training and deployment content to improve processes.
  • Lead the communication strategy of Global Process Excellence to keep the audience engaged and share best practices.
  • Support the deployment of a Maturity Assessment program to understand the level of adoption of Continuous Process Improvement and Business Process Management in the operating companies.
  • Enhance the framework material together with the GPEX team.
  • Support the Risk Management Team to enable the operating companies to identify risks and connect improvement methodologies to solve business risks.

You will be part of the Global Finance Team in the function of Global Process & Control Improvement, working closely with the Global Process Excellence Team. Conditions of HEINEKEN

  • You are enrolled at an educational institution for the entire duration of your internship and can provide proof of enrollment for the current academic year during your onboarding.
  • If you have non-EU nationality, you must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution.
  • If you have EU nationality, you may also be registered as an intern at educational institutions outside the EU.
  • You reside in the Netherlands for the entire duration of your internship.
  • HEINEKEN does not provide housing.

Our Internship Conditions

  • A full-time internship, starting on February 1, 2026.
  • The duration of the internship is 5 or 6 months (to be agreed upon with your internship supervisor).
  • Your home office will be in Amsterdam. At HEINEKEN, we work with a hybrid model, typically spending three days a week at the office and two days working from home.
  • You will receive a monthly internship allowance of €650 gross based on a 40-hour workweek.
  • You will earn 2 vacation days per month (based on a full-time internship).
  • If you do not have a public transport student subscription, your commuting costs will be fully reimbursed.
