Strategic Product Designer

At Magnet.me, we’re building a unique platform where companies and job seekers can form meaningful, long-term relationships. Our newest product, already successful with several pilot customers, is preparing for an international roll-out.

As our Strategic Product Designer, you’ll play a central role in shaping this product: combining design expertise with data-driven insights to make sure it scales successfully. Your work will directly influence how companies and candidates connect across borders.

What you’ll do

• Take a leading role within the design team: guiding and providing strategic direction.
• Own design strategies and vision with a strong focus on supporting Magnet.me’s international expansion.
• Partner closely with our customers, but also our Product, Engineering, and Commercial teams to set priorities and shape the roadmap.
• Design and validate strategic features — take a comprehensive view and make improvements that drive product metrics and business goals.
• Build a framework for data-driven design: run experiments, measure results, and optimize based on outcomes.

What you bring

• Proven design expertise: Experience as a Product, UX, or UI Designer with a strong strategic mindset.
• Analytical mindset: Skilled at interpreting data, forming hypotheses, and drawing clear, actionable insights.
• Conceptual thinker: Comfortable exploring multiple directions, not just the obvious path, to uncover innovative solutions.
• Ownership and drive: Proactive, self-motivated, and confident in taking responsibility from idea to execution.
• Strong communicator: Able to translate complex ideas clearly and bring stakeholders along on the journey.
• UI/UX craft: Capable of designing end-to-end experiences users love, and building prototypes to validate and refine ideas.
• Experimentation focus: Familiar with testing and optimization methods (CRO, A/B testing, rapid iterations).

About the team

You’ll join our Product team, working alongside another designer under the wings of our CEO and CTO. The team brings together frontend, backend, and data engineers, with design at the core of shaping user experiences. We collaborate closely across disciplines, start to finish, and value curiosity, ownership, and fast learning. As a designer here, you’ll not only craft intuitive experiences but also play a key role in influencing product direction and strategy.
